Do u know what is so fulfilling abt working in an infant care?
HAHA. Bet u dont.
For me, having babies fall asleep in your arms is really a rewarding feeling.
Well, it makes me feel that my arms are safe and comfortable to fall asleep in.
I mean, yes, the babies may be so sleepy that they do not care where they fall asleep in.
BUT NO. Babies do choose whose arms they want to fall asleep in.
If u're someone they are not comfortable with, they wouldnt even let you go near them.
So, having my sweet little reagan fall asleep in my arms everyday is a blessing.
Haha. I always feel so proud when i know that he's asleep.
Though it is really difficult to make a baby sleep because you have to be standing and some babies really tortures u.
They refuse to be carried a certain way that is more comfortable for you and they need you to move about as u pat them to sleep.
At the end of the day, i think it is worth it.
However, i think it's going to be really tiring to make your own baby sleep EVERY single night or during their bedtime for that matter.
Haha. It's a good training for me.
The only thing i still resist doing is changing diapers.
Once in a while, i do change diapers for some children.
BUT, when the babies poo, i really dont knw how to go abt cleaning them.
So, i would call for help. Haha. Loser i know.
BUT HEY! I'm not even a mother yet.
Not that i will wait till i become a mother before i learn how to change the baby's diaper
and it's not that i do not know how to do it.
It's just that, i dont want to do it just yet.
I have been fortunate enough because my collegues do not make me clean the babies when they poo. I just have to change the diapers for children who have wet diapers. (= Lucky me.
Anyway, though work is enjoyable, i find myself really exhausted these days. I wake up early almost every morning for 2 weeks already. I m totally worn out now. I just hope that i can get more SLEEP! Sleep is really what i desperately need now. Hence, i shall end my blog here.
BY THE WAY, Ambert Ng, i love u ok. Dont say i didnt post anything about u. I love u and i miss u. Look forward to tomorrow's game.(despite the fact tat i have to get up real early)
